Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Because light-deprivation cycles can be staggered, Light Dep offers more frequent production runs than once-a-year outdoor. That makes it a strong candidate for house strains and core SKUs you want to keep in stock most of the year.

Private Reserve is grow-method agnostic. Many of these lots are indoor, but select Exotic or Light Dep batches can qualify when they hit our highest standards for look, aroma, and test results. If it carries the Private Reserve label, it met the same premium criteria regardless of how it was grown.

Yes, Private Reserve is intentionally limited. We only label lots as Private Reserve when the harvest truly warrants it, which means availability can change quickly and some strains may not return. If a Private Reserve strain sells through, the next batch will be evaluated from scratch rather than automatically given the same tier.

Answer
For sleep, Indica still wins for most people. Sativa is better positioned for the first half of the day or social evenings where customers want to feel active and engaged. In a Sativa vs Indica vs Hybrid conversation, your budtenders can be direct:

  • Sativa: better for mood, creativity, and daytime energy.
  • Indica: better for heavy relaxation and winding down.
  • Hybrid: can lean either way depending on the cross.

If a shopper makes sleep and rest the priority, guide them toward Indica-dominant or sleepy leaning Hybrid strains instead of pure Sativas.

Most retailers use Exotic as a limited headstash style tier rather than a core everyday SKU. It works well in smaller quantities that turn quickly, keeping the section exciting while your Private Reserve and Light Dep tiers handle most daily volume.
